JTA Opens Kings Avenue Parking Garage For One Spark

Due to expected demand this weekend at the One Spark 2014 crowdfunding festival, starting Friday through Sunday the Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) will offer parking services at the JTA’s Kings Avenue Parking Garage located at 1201 Kings Avenue.
“The JTA is thrilled to see the amount of success One Spark 2014 has seen during its opening days,” said Nathaniel P. Ford Sr. JTA CEO. “On Wednesday and Thursday alone, our Skyway transported nearly 22,000 customers to the crowdfunding festival, marking a 15% increase from the first two days during the 2013 festival.”

In addition, to the complimentary parking lots around the JTA’s Convention Center station, located at 1071 W. Bay Street, the JTA will offer parking services at the Kings Avenue Parking Garage for a $5 fee.  Vehicles may enter the garage between the following hours:

Friday                         April 11 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Saturday                    April 12 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Customers will then have access to hop on the Skyway at the Kings Avenue Skyway Station and travel to the festival.
