Versatility is the New Black

As we prepare for the draft and discuss these prospects, one common theme continues to be discussed–versatility. Is one player better than the other because they can play multiple positions? Is it no longer good enough to be the best at one position?

The draft is 22 days away and top draft prospects are making their rounds, visiting with teams who could potentially make their NFL dreams come true.

As we prepare for the draft and discuss these prospects, one common theme continues to be discussed–versatility. Is one player better than the other because they can play multiple positions? Is it no longer good enough to be the best at one position?

Yesterday on the Frank Frangie Show, Frank and Rick discussed the potential future Jaguar who will be selected at number 5. Linebacker Myles Jack is a favorite because of his versatility. He can play all three linebacker spots, he can rush the passer, he can drop back in coverage and there’s even talk of moving him to defensive back (Chargers have mentioned this).
