Could Jags Trade Down and Pick Bulldog?
A well-placed NFL expert thinks the Jaguars could have their eye on a Georgia Bulldog.
The Tennessee Titans may not be done trading first-round picks.
In Peter King’s most recent “Monday Morning Quarterback” column for SI.com, he writes that the Titans may be looking for a trade partner and could find one in the Jacksonville Jaguars. The idea behind the trade is that the Titans would grad Ole Miss offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil and the Jaguars would select Georgia defensive end/outside linebacker Leonard Floyd.
As part of the scenario, Jacksonville trades the fifth pick in the first round to Tennessee for picks in the first (15th overall) and second (33rd overall) rounds, and a mid-round pick in 2017.
Floyd has been graded as a first-round talent by many draft analysts for most of the offseason. Now that the draft is less than 72 hours away, players are going to pick up momentum and lose steam – depending upon who you talk to. Evidently, Floyd is one of those late risers.
