Hotel & Condo Projects Proposed for Jax Beach

The Klotz Companies Group of Companies and Tierra Linda Development plan to construct hotel and condominium project at 715 First Street North in Jacksonville Beach.
Adjacent to the Casa Marina Hotel, the 1.44-acre block between Sixth and Seventh Avenues, is one of a few places in Jacksonville Beach where buildings are allowed to go higher than 35 feet.

The 8-story Atlantis is being positioned to become a "premier" resort type development that will feature 34 high-end luxury condominiums and 144 large hotel suites.  The residential condominium units have an average size of 2,060-square feet. The hotel suites will average 580-square feet. Additional uses include retail, dining and beach club components on the site, which was acquired for $3.5 million in August 2013.

The project is being designed by Humphreys & Partners of Dallas, TX. The award-winning firm specializes in multifamily, mixed-use and hospitality/resort design.

Beach House

The Klotz Companies Group of Companies and Tierra Linda Development are also planning to develop a second project called Beach House. Like the Atlantis, the Beach House development will be built on one of the last sites in Jacksonville Beach with rare perpetual height entitlements. Containing 57 very high-end luxury residential units, Beach House will be 11-stories.
