A Sneak Peak Inside the new UF Health North

UF Health North, Jacksonville's latest major medical center, opens its doors this week. Here's a sneak peak inside the 210,000-square-foot state-of-the-art medical center.
UF Health North is a state-of-the-art outpatient medical complex that will make access to high quality medical care more convenient for residents throughout Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia.

UF Health North's first patients will arrive on Tuesday, February 17, 2015.

The six story building contains five operating rooms, 16 preoperative rooms, 16 postoperative rooms, 12 recovery rooms, two endoscopy suites, two interventional diagnostic suites, a women's health services department, a radiology department and a 28-bed emergency room.

Future plans include the construction of a 92-bed hospital just north of this medical center. That project is anticipated to be completed by Summer 2017. When complete, UF Health North wil employ 350.

UF Health North is located near River City Marketplace at 15255 Max Leggett Parkway.
