Food Fun(d), One Spark want to give you money!
If you have an idea, we want to give you money!! The creators of Jaxsons Night Market and Jax Truckies have partnered with One Spark to host a joint event combining Food Fun(d) with a Creator meetup on December 9th and applicants are being sought to pitch an idea to a group of people and win a crowdfunded pot of money.
One Creator from six categories (Art, Education, Music, Health & Science, Social Good and Technology) will have five minutes to pitch an idea to a group of attendees who will vote on their favorite Project. The top-voted Creator will receive the entire pot of admission fees (admission is only $1 per person) and One Spark will even match that amount up to $500!
What’s more, attendees will also have access to food trucks, a full bar, and a performance from the Jonny Morgan Band!
The last Food Fun(d) winner, Vagabond Coffee, used their winnings to help open a fantastic mobile coffee barista in downtown Jacksonville.

*if a category receives no applicants, we reserve the right to select a 2nd Creator from another category.
Details for Event
When: Tuesday, 12/9/2014, from 5-9pm
Where: On the river at the end of Hogan Street next to the Jacksonville Landing. Park using free street parking after 6pm or $5 parking in the lot at the Jacksonville Landing.
What: The last Creator meetup of 2014 (and the first since the opening of Creator Registration), Food Fun(d), a performance by Jonnie Morgan Band, and more...all in one great evening!
Details: $1 Cash Admission gets you in and goes directly to the winner.
- A bevy of food trucks dispensing delicious cuisine as well as a full bar at your disposal!
- 1 Creator will pitch from each category (Art, Education, Music, Health & Science, Social Good and Technology)
- The crowd will vote via text message and decide a single winner.
- All money raised from admission plus the matched funds from One Spark will go to the single winner as decided by public vote.
