Go Skate Day Tomorrow at Hemming Plaza

Tomorrow, Kona Skate Park will present their second annual Go Skate Day at Hemming Plaza. Here is a look at the event's details.

(JACKSONVILLE, FL) – Kona Skate Park presents its 2nd Annual Go Skate Day on, June 21 2013 at 3:00pm.  We invite North Florida’s Skate Scene to join us in Hemming Plaza as we enjoy another fun filled afternoon of music, food, friends, and SKATEBOARDING!

This year’s Go Skate Day will feature free admission and open skate to all visitors from 3:00pm – 9:00pm.  Check out the VANS Ramp Jam that will begin at 5:00pm, and then head over to the Autoline Best Trick contest to win a $500 cash prize.

LIVE music will start at 6:00pm and will be located on the main stage.  Enjoy the sounds of Glory Hole, Life Forms, and Penguin Teeth.

Enjoy food from Jax Truckies – Corner Taco, Bruccis, The Happy Grilled Cheese and Le Petite Cheri Cupcakery, as well as beer from Intuition Ale Works. A percentage of proceeds from food and beer will benefit Kona School.
