Boselli Foundation's education fundraiser a success

Metro Jacksonville's Kelsi Hasden shares her thoughts on this past weekend's Boselli Foundation's fundraiser to improve education for local children on Jacksonville’s Northside. The event was hosted by the Bold City Brigade and held at Riverside's Intuition Ale Works.

The Boselli Foundation and the Bold City Brigade  teamed up June 1st at Intuition Ale Works for a fundraiser to improve education for local children on Jacksonville’s Northside.  The event demonstrated the growing Jaguar fever amidst Jacksonville’s populace, as 210 people rallied behind a worthy cause and their favorite local NFL team.  Mark Brunnell made an appearance, JaxChef Jarrod McManus helped Smoke It Up BBQ prepare the food, and Jaxson DeVille assisted Bold City Brigade President and CEO John Caputo with a raffle, which sold approximately 500 tickets.

The entire evening resonated with high energy from the fans as they introduced themselves to new people, made friends in different sections of the stadium, and enjoyed Intuition’s beer selection along with platefuls of smoked BBQ.  After seeing so many excited football fans, I should expect the upcoming season will be greeted with a fuller stadium, additional people tailgating, and more vitality erupting from the fans as they celebrate and cheer for their Jacksonville Jaguars.

Items being auctioned off.  They included signed footballs, a signed helmet, t-shirts, a picture of Jones-Drew, and tickets to an IMAX showing along with a weekend at The Players.
