About Swimming Yesterday Seafood Company
Quote
Paul Riley and Shane Tanner are native Floridians who were born and raised in the Pensacola, Florida area. From the start of their early childhood each were accustomed to the best quality seafood that the gulf coast had to offer.

After moving to the greater Jacksonville area in late 2002, Paul and Shane enrolled at the University of North Florida business school. While at the end of their collegiate career, both had a class together that required them to form a business idea and to write a business plan. While searching on the internet, it became evident that there were several online seafood retailers. The only problem with these retailers where that most were located in the northeast part of the country, and much of it was having to be shipped thru mutiple vendors before it made its journey to the front door of a customer. Instead of shipping the seafood more than once, Paul and Shane decided to try and make the most of thier situation by cutting the amount of time it took for a fish to be caught and shipped in half, thus, Swimming Yesterday Seafood was born.

Both Paul and Shane now reside in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, and wake up everyday to try and bring the best fruits of the sea to every seafood lover.  Although Swimming Yesterday Seafood has had many revisions, the dudes are happy to be getting a great start with the first ever Swimming Yesterday Seafood market/shop on the northwest side of Jacksonville, Florida. Within time, the dream of shipping Florida's freshest seafood will come into reality. Remember, if it's not Swimming Yesterday, it's not fresh
