Enjoy The Inaugural Beaches Winter Light Festival

Are you in the holiday spirit? If so, take a drive out to Jacksonville Beach at night and enjoy the inaugural Beaches Winter Light Festival, which runs through January 4, 2014.

Enjoy a lighted 12-foot tall jellyfish, a castle, fire truck, lighthouse, windmill and much more!

Deck the Chairs Exhibit, a Beaches light display featuring the iconic red chairs of The American Red Cross Life Saving Corps, is lighting up Latham Plaza in downtown Jacksonville Beach nightly until January 4, 2014.

The first annual Deck the Chairs Exhibit, located in Latham Plaza in Jacksonville Beach, is where local non-profit organizations and businesses have come together to sponsor and decorate the iconic Jacksonville Beach Lifeguard Chairs. The Jacksonville Beach Lifeguard Corps, started in 1912, is the ONLY volunteer life-saving corps left in the United States.

"The Beaches Winter Light Festival featuring a display of more than twenty American Red Cross life guard chairs in Latham Plaza decorated in coastal-themed designs and lights. The inaugural event focuses on local non-profit organizations that serve the Beaches. Kickoff is the day after Thanksgiving with chair decorating, music, hot cocoa, judging and lighting ceremonies." - https://www.facebook.com/deckthechairs
