Downtown

Court Yard Cafe

Tenant buildout of the the Court Yard Cafe continues in the Courthouse parking garage at Adams and Pearl Streets.






7-Eleven - Union & Main

Construction continues at Union & Main.








McDonald's/Family Dollar

Warren Motors has relocated to Brentwood to allow for the redevelopment of the State Street automobile dealership property into a McDonald's Restaurant and Family Dollar.  This week demolition permits were issued to allow for the construction of McDonald's and Family Dollar to proceed. The $3.7 million project is expected to be completed before the end of the year.




Duval County Courthouse

Work still remains on the conversion of the old US Post Office into the State Attorney's Office.




The Jacksonville Landing

The Landing newest tenants will be Pierre's Pizza and River City Tattoo.




Northbank Riverwalk Extension

Construction is complete on the one block extension of the Northbank Riverwalk to East Bay Street.






RIVERSIDE/AVONDALE

Derby on Park

1534 Oak Street

Construction of the building housing Black Sheep Restaurant is nearing completion.  Black Sheep's menu can be viewed here








Tijuana Flats Burrito Company

Work on the transformation of Sushi Cafe's former location into a Tijuana Flats Burrito Company is complete.  The new Tijuana Flats opened on September 24, 2012.




2216 Oak Street

Snap Fitness will be opening in this historic "streetcar" transit oriented development commercial building (constructed in 1923) at 2216 Oak Street.




Tres Leches Bakery Cafe

Tres Leches Bakery Cafe will be opening on October 1, 2012 in the former Bakery Moderne space on Stockton Street.  The restaurant will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner in addition to their famous desserts.




The Salty-Fig Southern Gastropub

The Salty Fig, A Southern Gastropub is expected to open at 901 King Street this fall.  Salty Fig will feature a bar, dining area and outdoor sidewalk seating.




Goozlepipe & Guttyworks

Sitework for King Street's Goozlepipe & Guttyworks restaurant continues.




Sweet Revolution Bakery

Sweet Revolution Bakery is going in at 1243 King Street.

Katie Riehm says the name of her new Riverside area business, Sweet Revolution Baking Co., is a spin on her plan to take the craft to the next step of producing sweet treats with all-natural, allergy-free ingredients.

That means doughnuts, cupcakes, cookie sandwiches, muffins and breakfast items free of egg, dairy, soy and peanut ingredients. Many of the products also will be gluten-free.

Riehm calls her venture, which she will open at 1243 King St., “an alternative bakery.”

“It’s a whole new era of baked goods,” said Riehm, a 27-year-old Jacksonville native.




CoRK North

A third warehouse, north of Rosselle Street, is being converted into additional studio, gallery and entertainment space in the popular CoRK Arts District.




Pulp Juice Bar

Pulp is still in the process of moving forward with opening their second urban Jacksonville location at the Shops of Avondale.

Department of Veterans Affairs Outpatient Clinic

Work on the Department of Veterans Affairs Outpatient Clinic continues but one can't help but notice the installation of large gates surrounding the property.








Paul Davis Restoration

Paul Davis Restoration's move into the Springfield Warehouse District is now complete.








Ardy's Eatable Delyghts

Ardy's Eatable Delyghts will soon occupy the former Jerome Brown BBQ resturant space at 9th & Main Streets.

San Marco Boulevard Streetscape

The third phase of the San Marco Boulevard Streetscape project, between Laverne Street and San Marco Square, is underway.








Aardwolf Brewery

Construction continues on the adaptive reuse of this historic Hendricks Avenue ice plant into the Aardwolf Brewery.  Also, a look at Aardwolf's conceptual tap room floor plan.









San Marco Station




Grape & Grain Exchange and The Parlour

Work is underway on the Grape & Grain Exchange and The Parlour at 2000 San Marco Boulevard.  When complete, the space will include a 1,300 square foot shope and a 50-seat, 1,800 square foot bar.
