Beaches Construction Update: February 2012
Here's a look at new businesses, closings, and renovations this month in the Jacksonville - Neptune - Atlantic Beaches area.
Metro Diner (& Plaza)
The second, Jacksonville Beach location opened for business Feb. 14. The parking lot has been full ever since.
The rest of the plaza is being made over to mirror the new diner's exterior design.
Art of Cigars
Unnamed Venture of Palm Valley Fish Camp/Marker 32 (Former Caribee Key)
7-Eleven
Coming soon in the Beaches Town Center in the former Sprint convenience store space.
Salt Life Brand Headquarters Office
On 3rd St. S. (A1A) in Jax Beach near Ginger's Bar is the soon-to-be location for the franchise's offices.
Cafe 119
A new coffee shop situated between Campeche Bay and Freebird Live in Jax Beach.
YWAM Jacksonville
Blue Island Water Grill
A new bar replacing the former Jamrock on 1st St. in the heart of Jax Beach; it is still owned by Jamrock's formers.
Sugar Rush Confections
Finally open for business off N. A1A nearing Atlantic Blvd.
1st St. Renovations (Jax Beach)
Gourmet Grouper
A new seafood market in the plaza at the intersection of A1A and Atlantic Blvd.
