Water Taxi Service Expands To Riverside

Connectivity between Riverside and Downtown has been enhanced with the expansion of water taxi service to the Riverside Arts Market (RAM). Metro Jacksonville shares some sights and scenes from the inaugural trip.

The special water taxi service will make three stops every Saturday during market hours: the RAM boat dock, the Jacksonville Landing and the Friendship Fountain dock. The low-cost-to-ride water taxi allows attendees to enjoy more parts of our city without the drudgery of driving and parking from location to location. Interested riders can identify the special water taxi by the large RAM banners on the rails.

Water Taxi service to RAM begins at 10am and continues until the arts market closes at 4pm. Priced at $4 per one way trip ($3 for seniors and students) the water taxi operates between the Southbank's Friendship Fountain and the new city dock at RAM, on Riverside Avenue beneath the Fuller Warren Bridge.
