Construction will begin this month at Riverside Presbyterian Day School on a new multipurpose children's play field and running track for physical education, lighted multi-purpose basketball court, an improved playground and outdoor picnic areas .

The project, to be completed before the 2010-11 school year begins, will also include new landscape along the site's perimeter, comprehensive parking, circulation and pedestrian improvements.

Architect Ervin Lovett Miller has worked with the school and Riverside Presbyterian Church in developing a campus improvement plan to support the church and school's continued growth and expansion in Jacksonville's historic Riverside neighborhood.
