Metro Jacksonville wins Public Interest Group of 2009
Metro Jacksonville has been awarded 2009 Public Interest Group of the Year from the American Planning Association's Florida chapter. This award is based on Metro Jacksonville's continued coverage of planning and growth management strategies.
About the Public Interest Group of the Year Award
The award recognizes advocacy groups that have influenced political decisions by educating and bringing the general public into the planning process for the creation of sustainable communities.
Metro Jacksonville would like to thank the Florida APA for this award and is proud to be recognized as the leader in media coverage of issues affecting the growth and development of Jacksonville's Downtown and surrounding Areas.
