Urban Infill: First Baptist Academy Recreational Area

A look at the latest improvement project planned for Main Street.

This proposal will involve the conversion of a vacant lot and surface parking area into recreational space featuring a pavilion, playground, basketball court and soccer field.  This gated facility will serve as recreational space for the First Baptist Academy of Jacksonville.







































Although this is a private development, it serves as a good example of how to create active green space in an urban setting.
