Downtown Jacksonville to get Wayfinding Signage?

Over the past three years, Metro Jacksonvlle has pushed for better signage downtown, particularly in the area of wayfinding signage for pedestrians. Now, it looks like Metro Jacksonville is about to get its wish granted. At the July meeting of the Downtown Development Review Board, the group heard a preliminary proposal for downtown signage.

Conclusion

Wayfinding signing is long overdue for Downtown Jacksonville.  With that said, we need to make sure that we maintain these signs, unlike what we've done with the existing purple vehicular signage.
