Famed Artist Noli Novak will call Downtown Home

As a follow-up to an article earlier this month, famed Wall Street Journal Artist Noli Novak has found a space downtown to convert into a live/work headquarters.

The structure that will house Novak's operations is one of the few surviving buildings from Jacksonville's turn-of-the-century red light district on Houston Street.  When it's all said and done, this brick structure, at 615 Houston Street will house a work studio for her stipple portraits and her husband's printmaking business.  Hopefully, Noli Novak's committment to downtown will help spur more creative types to invest in the urban core.
