Jax Loses Financial Headquarters Opportunity

World Alliance Financial Corp. The financial services firm specializing in residential and reverse mortgages, chose Troy, Michigan over Jacksonville, Fla., for a regional headquarters. It received a $3.5 million state tax credit over five years. The company plans to invest $835,000 in the headquarters which will include a call center, data center and administrative offices. This new operation will create 350 jobs.
